Intersections Media is a non-profit, digital filmmaking skills development program that operates in the downtown eastside of Vancouver. Participants are youth between the ages of 19-28 who face multiple barriers to employment. Intersections Media offers programs that focus on personal, creative and career development.
Intersections is also a social enterprise that is designed to help you meet your video production needs, while simultaneously contributing to the continuum of video production training we provide to at-risk youth in the lower mainland.
Under the direction of professional mentors from the film and television industries, our youth teams contribute to the creation, filming and delivery of video projects to our clients. The production teams are led by a professional filmmaker and are composed of graduates of our digital film skills development programs.
By contracting video services through Intersections you:

• Provide employment opportunities for youth (ages 19-28) who face barriers to employment
• Enhance the financial sustainability of a local non-profit organization (Intersections Media Opportunities for Youth Society)
In addition to providing a valuable service to our clients, professional video production plays an important role within our digital filmmaking skills development program by introducing a “real world” application for our program participants. Furthermore, the profits earned by the program are funneled back into Intersections Media Opportunities for Youth Society.
