Call For Participants
Intersections Media Opportunities for Youth Society (in association with BladeRunners) is seeking participants for its 2011-2012 Digital Video Workshops. The workshops are five weeks in length, the first of which start October 24, 2011 (four workshops running through Spring 2012).
If you are...
• 19-28 and living in the Lower Mainland.
• Interested in learning film and video production skills, and exploring your artistic side.
• Face barriers to employment and / or education and are not on EI or currently involved in EI based programs.
• Referred to the program by a case manager at a local employment resource centre.
• Legally entitled to work in British Columbia
• Want to work & can commit to a 4 day a week, 8.0 hour a day schedule for five weeks.

We are now conducting interviews with applicants. Chosen participants will earn minimum wage as they learn, based on a 30 hour per week commitment.
Intersections' goal is to help its participants take steps towards stable employment or continued education. Through an exciting and innovative workshop format incorporating life lessons and the latest in modern technology, Intersections Media's provides youth participants with the tools and skills needed to construct video and art projects at a basic skill level as individuals, and as a team.
